Since 1341

Sonnerupgaard manor lies in the heart of Sealand. Due to its age, the manor has quite a lot of stories to tell. We cherish those stories as we cherish the old buildings, and strive to maintain roofs, walls, windows and every other piece of history that we can. Click here to watch a short video of a wedding in the barn - then you will know better what we mean.

Also, we have lots of stories about former owners, including the nemesis of Tycho Brahe (danish 16th century astronomer) how the ensurance company, Alm. Brand, prepared the manor to be a hideout during an eventual nuclear war, and finally, the manors very own ghost.

We have four konference rooms, each including kitchens, restrooms, wardrobes, terraces, parks or gardens. They vary in size, style and history.
